This office chair is made by combining a new donor office chair with a seat removed from the driver side of a wrecked Nissan 300ZX. The Z32 300ZX is easily one of the most iconic designs to come out of the 1990s and it still looks fresh when you see one on the road today. Now you can take a great-looking Z seat right into your office.
This chair is nearly identical to the passenger seat we built in the same colors. The two seats are in fact from the same car. The difference is that this one has many more adjustments. It has three separate height adjustments: one from the pneumatic cylinder from the donor office chair, and one each for independently raising the front and rear of the seat. It also includes adjustable backrest bolster width and adjustable lumbar support.
The seat has been stripped down to the metal and recovered in brand new full black leather (100% leather - no vinyl) with contrasting red stitching and the Z logo embroidered on the back rest. The chair also has all brand new padding under the leather, except for the headrest which is still in good shape. This is a firm sport seat that gets more comfortable the longer you sit in it.
It will be shipped partially disassembled and will require about 10 minutes to put together. Only basic tools are required. The chair retains the Nissan recline mechanism, headrest height adjustment, and has all the standard features you would expect from an office chair, such as swivel, tilt, tension adjust, height adjustment, adjustable arm height etc. There is a "Rebirth Certificate" affixed to the underside of the chair that details exactly (by year, make, model and VIN) which vehicle the seat is from and ensures this chair is unique. This item is near impossible to find anywhere else and would be the ultimate office chair for any enthusiast.
