This office chair was made by combining a brand new store-bought donor office chair with a rare very nice Medium Prairie Tan leather seat removed from the passenger side of a Ford SVT Contour. It has been thoroughly cleaned and is in near-new condition as you can see in the pictures above. There is one very thin scratch low on the backrest as shown in the pictures - only the color layer is affected and the leather itself is in tact. It's not very noticeable, but please know it's there.
This seat is very comfortable and supportive. You definitely sit more down in the seat than on it. All of the non-Ford parts of the chair are new. It will be shipped partially disassembled and will require about 10 minutes to put together. No tools are required.
This chair retains the Contour's reclining mechanism and has adjustable headrest height and angle. And, it has all the standard features you would expect from an office chair, such as swivel, tilt, tension adjust, height adjustment etc. Please note this chair does not have arms. There simply isn't room for them due to the truly unusual way this seat was engineered. This item is near impossible to find anywhere else and would be the ultimate office chair for any enthusiast. There is a signed and dated "Rebirth Certificate" attached to the underside of the chair that details exactly which vehicle (by year, make, model and VIN) this seat is from and ensures its uniqueness.

The weight capacity of this chair is 225 pounds and the top of the seat cushion can be adjusted from 18" - 21." Need a chair that's a little taller or shorter? Higher weight capacity? Just send us a message with your requirements and we can probably accommodate you.
About the SVT Contour:
Ford offered the Contour in SVT trim for a limited production run of three model years and the cars are definitely a rare sight today. The SVT model came to us from the same people who brought us the F-150 Lightning, the SVT Focus, and the SVT Mustang Cobra. The SVT Contour had the the hallmark of a serious sports car - it was offered only with a 5-speed manual. It also had more power, different shocks, wheels, exterior trim and yes, even the seats were unique to the SVT models. This is therefore likely the only SVT Contour office chair in existence.
