This office chair was made by combining a brand new donor office chair with a seat removed the passenger side of a Mercedes 300D. It is upholstered in its original blue MB-Tex. It is in very nice condition as shown in the pictures as shown above with a cut across the back.

If you've ever owned a Mercedes, you probably know their seats were made with long-term comfort in mind. That's why I chose to build a Mercedes chair for my office back in August 2014 and it truly is comfortable all day long.

MB-Tex is a material that looks like leather, but does not shrink, crack, peel, cut, or wear near as easily as leather. Many Mercedes as far back as the 1970's are still running around with nice looking original MB-Tex interiors. Mercedes has made literally millions of cars with these interiors and continues to do so today.

All of the non-Mercedes parts of the chair are new. It will be shipped partially disassembled and will require about 10 minutes to put together. Only simple hand tools are required.

This chair retains the Mercedes reclining mechanism, adjustable headrest height and headrest angle. And, it has all the standard features you would expect from an office chair, such as swivel, infinite tilt, tension adjust, height adjustment, adjustable arms etc. This item is near impossible to find anywhere else and would be the ultimate office chair for any enthusiast. There is a signed and dated "Rebirth Certificate" attached to the underside of the chair that details exactly which vehicle this seat is from (by year, make, model and VIN) and ensures its uniqueness.
